Mi Ayam Korea Segede Baskom!

Hello, I'm Jisun I'm Junsu This place has a lot of people so I am a bit embarrassed. Today, we're at a restaurant that sells "Mie Ayam Korea" (Korean Chicken Noodles) But calling it Mie Ayam (noodles with chicken) is a bit wrong (Chicken with noodles) (Chicken with noodles) might be more appropriate because They use ONE entire whole chicken. (One Whole) "Mie Ayam" in Indonesia they put chicken on the noodles. However, over here they use ONE whole chicken, and they put noodles on the chicken.

Even so, it is still considered "Mie Ayam" (Chicken Noodles) in Korea Yeah, this is "Mie Ayam" (Chicken Noodles) Korea But the taste and the look of it might be very different. This dish of 'Satu ekor ayam mie' (One whole chicken with noodles) is quite expensive. Because over here they actually do use the entire chicken. Thank You.

If you eat 'Mie Korea' (Korean Noodles) you also have to try 'Mandu' (Korean Dumplings) too If you go to a restaurant that sells 'Mie Korea' (Korean Noodles) They usually sell 'Mandu' (Korean Dumplings) too. You should eat 'Mandu' if you don't eat some, it's not as satisfying. ~$2.80 USD. 'Wang Mandu'~~ This is so big that the camera can't see the entire thing.

Wow the pot is so big it looks like a tub. ~$18.65 USD. When the pot arrives at the table, the chicken isn't fully cooked yet. So you have to let it boil a little longer.

While we wait we can eat some 'Mandu'! (Korean dumplings) The 'Mandu'(Korean Dumplings) is also pretty good! The name of the dish is "Satu Ekor Ayam" (One whole chicken) It sounds a little weird but yeah they do use one entire chicken. And if you use noodles with this dish. Then this dish becomes 'Mie Ayam Korea' (Korean Chicken Noodles) So how it works is, you eat the boiled chicken first then you put in the noodles into the chicken broth so that the noodles are more savoury. If you try the Kimchi, you can see how good the restaurant is.

That's true, if you got to a restaurant that sells noodles, its important that you try their Kimchi. Usually, the Kimchi in a noodle restaurant is a bit different, its usually more refreshing. It's not too sour, and it hasn't been fermenting for a long time. There's chicken.........

Vegetables and ...........Kimchi This entire thing is Kimchi. :^O [Junsu] it's spicy?   [Jisun] yeah it's spicy! It tastes like Korean Chili Peppers! The spicy taste hits you in the throat! No? Spicy! The spicy taste is deep. If we use the noodle, for sure it would be really delicious! This is like a bucket where you can wash your face in. It's bigger than a bucket where you can wash your face in.

It's very steamy! You can't see my face. This dish doesn't contain any ingredients that's 'Haram' (not allowed in Islam) like Pork, or Alcohol. Before I used to always give this information when I describe Korean food. Whether or not this Korean dish is 'Halal' (allowed in Islam) or 'Non-Halal' (not allowed in Islam) But 'Halal- food' (allowed in Islam) doesn't just mean food that doesn't have any 'Haram' (not allowed in Islam) ingredients.

How you butcher the meat and the way you clean it, that's all have to be 'Halal' (allowed in Islam) for the food to be considered 'Halal-food' But in Korea, not a lot of people truly understand what is considered 'Halal' (allowed in Islam) People said that even 'Halal-restaurants' don't actually sell food that's 'Halal' (allowed in Islam) For sure there must be a 'Halal-restaurant' that understand and follows what 'Halal' means (allowed in Islam) So before, I used to give information in my videos, if the dish contains any 'Haram' (not allowed in Islam) ingredients. I would then write 'non-Halal' (not allowed in Islam) But there would always be someone that comments' "even if it doesn't have any 'Haram' ingredients it can still be 'Haram' " (not allowed in Islam) After I read that comment, I started to feel that it became a lot harder to give that information. (Because I can't always check on the entire process) :( For this chicken, we need to make the sauce! Soy Sauce. Mustard The potatoes are really spicy! I feel like eating the noodles right away! I said before that this is Korean 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) But I haven't eaten any noodles I've just been eating the chicken Gonna eat the chicken with Kimchi~~ <3 If you eat the chicken wrapped in Kimch, it's really good! Gonna use the sauce~~ In Korea, it's common to eat an entire whole chicken right? For example the dish 'Samgyetang' (Ginseng Chicken Soup) one person will eat one entire chicken.

But a lot of viewers still say that we eat a lot..... -____- The Indonesian 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) taste very different right? The colour is not red and the taste is more savoury. It's softer. But over here, they use a lot of Kimchi and Korean chilli peppers SPICY! Chicken Drumstick! The Kimchi that's inside this soup is very soft.

It has become very soft. Like Kimchi that is inside Kimchi soup. This really looks like a lot, but If two people eat this Then it's really only 2 portions :P. Personally I don't really like chicken skin, but the chicken skin here is really good.

With the skin~~ I'ts like eating Kimchi soup but the taste is more savoury. ~~Tadam~~ Yeah it looks like in here they really use the entire chicken But there is no chicken head. In here, it looks like they use one entire whole chicken but without the head right? In Indonesia, sometimes they would give you the chicken head too. So that's why there's a lot of Korean people who gets surprised.

When they find a chicken head in their food. It looks like we've almost finished the chicken. And in that case. We should start adding the noodles inside.

Drooling :D. WOWIEE!!! :D. It's hot! The broth has become thicker after we've added the noodles. The noodles are very chewy! These noodles are not made by machine, that's why the thickness is not uniform.

But as a result it is chewier. This is really delicious There's already Kimchi in the soup but I want to add some fresh ones. WoOoOoO. When we first arrived in the restaurant, a lot of people were eating while they were sweating right? Now we can understand why they were really sweaty.

~~Fur elise~~ *(    )*. If we use Kimchi and a lot of Chilli Peppers in Indonesian 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) maybe the taste will become similar to this! We've finished one whole chicken and 2 portions of noodles too. Finished! We can't compare which one is more delicious between Indonesian 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) and the Korean 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) They just taste different. The colour of the flavour profile is different.

That's right, the colour is different and the colour of the flavour profile is also different. This taste red. Yeah, this taste red while Indonesian 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) tastes yellow So what's the conclusion? Both of them are delicious!! :^) If you eat Chicken with Noodles. For sure it will be delicious right? You need to say it like this! "It means it would definitely be delicious" I am embarrassed XD.

So if you guys are coming to Korea, I highly recommend you try Korean 'Mie Ayam' (Chicken Noodles) And in my opinion This is a new flavour for you guys to try. So in that case? [Jisun] So for today!!!!                                                   [Junsu] we're gonna end.......Here BYE!! :D. What day is it today? Today is Jisun DAY!!.
