How to Upload a Karaoke Song to iTunes or Amazon

But if you want to be a real rock star, you need to record and upload your songs. With iTunes and the Amazon Cloud Player, you can upload your karaoke songs and play them on your computer, iPod or other MP3 player. You can also upload your songs and burn them to CDs to give out to your friends or family.

Download the latest version of iTunes from www.apple.com/itunes/. Follow the prompts to install and launch iTunes on your computer.

Click the "File" button from the menu tab on iTunes and choose "Add file to library link" from the drop-down menu.

Scroll through your saved files to locate the karaoke song file. Single click the name of the file and click the "Open" button.

Click the "Music" tab under the "Library" menu on your iTunes main page to view the uploaded song.

Upload to Amazon Cloud Player1

Download the Amazon Cloud Player from www.amazon.com/mp3. Follow the prompts to install and launch the Amazon Cloud Player on your computer.

Click the "Upload to your Cloud Drive" button from the Cloud Player.

Click the plus icon next to the "All Music" link after Amazon scans your computer. The Cloud Player scans your Windows Media Player libraries and iTunes libraries for new music.

Click the check box next to the name of the file you want to upload and click the "Start Upload" button to upload the file.

Click the "browse for more music" link on the Cloud Player to search for the file manually, as the Cloud Player does not locate files automatically.

Locate the file name on your computer and click the "Open" and "Start Upload" buttons to load the file to the Cloud Player.

Tips & Warnings

The Amazon Cloud Player does not accept DRM or .wma file types. Make sure you file is saved as another file type before uploading to the Cloud Player.
