Karaoke, which began in Japan and eventually spread throughout the world, is singing in public along with popular songs. People usually enjoy karaoke with a group of friends at a bar or other public place. But it can also be done in private. Your own karaoke songbook will make it easier for you to have fun singing with family or friends inside the comfort of your home.

Write a list of the songs you would like to include in your book. Search for the lyrics online.

2

Print the lyrics of each song. You could type the lyrics into a Word document and format the pages so that they look the same in your book. Use white paper so that the lyrics are easy to read.

3

Design a front and back cover for the book and print it.

4

Make an index page that lists the songs in order. Print the page.

5

Laminate the front and back cover of the book. Have the cover pages, index and song lyrics bound with a spiral binder. Alternatively, punch the pages with a three-hole puncher and insert them in a file folder.

6

Burn a CD with all of the songs in the karaoke songbook. Arrange the songs in the same order as they are in the book.
