Give a concert ticket as a gift to grant someone a memory that lasts a lifetime.

Material objects wear out and need to be thrown away when they get old, but an experience lasts a lifetime. When you are stumped on what to give someone for a gift, consider purchasing a concert ticket for his birthday. You can purchase two, one for you and one for him; then, enjoy the experience together or allow him to select a friend or a few friends to join him at the event. After you purchase the ticket, you can consider several options on how you can present the gift to your friend.

Purchase a card that is specifically designed for the occasion --- whether you are celebrating an anniversary, a graduation or a birthday. Place the ticket or tickets inside the card. Write a message inside the card informing your friend that you thought he might enjoy this special event because you know he loves this band or musician, and place the card in an envelope.

Purchase a CD of the singer or band and place the concert tickets inside the CD case. Wrap the gift. As he unwraps your present, ask him to look at the CD or tell him you want to glance at the insert. Once he opens it, he will immediately see the concert tickets.

Make a gift basket of band-related items, such as a tee shirt, a poster or individual photographs of the band members. Wrap each item individually and place and tape the concert tickets along the bottom of the basket. When he takes out each item, he will find the concert tickets at the bottom.

  1. Check out 'going2thegig.com'. It solves this problem perfectly! It is basically a gift box but personalised with a picture of the band or singer or whoever the ticket is to see, and comes with a 'gift ticket' which has the date, venue and they even let you add a personal message to the person the ticket is for!
The gift box then comes wrapped in a matching ribbon and bow. Absolute bargain at around £5 because it captures everything you want it to, but still shows that you have made the effort because of the personal message. I have bought 2 from them now and they've both shown up within 2-3 days too.
They have their own store on ebay too, believe it is under going2thegig2014
